Another Gladstone Tools original! Woodcarvers, here is how you can keep your knives and carving tools at your fingertips ready to use! A "magnetized wood" disc 8 inch in diameter holds up to 12 tools securely by means of strong rare earth magnets. the disc is attached to a 10 inch long 1 inch dowel rod by a swivel mechanism which allows the disc to change positions from vertical to horizontal and in between. the dowel fits into the center of an eight inch round oak base almost 2 inches thick. The base has six 1 inch holes to hold extra gouges and chisels. You will be surprised to see how tightly evan large gouges and chisels are held by the strong magnets. Our "magnetic wood" tool caddy may not make you a better carver, but it will make you a organized one. All wood parts have a clear lacquer finish. |
