A great little project for the woodworker.This kit consists of the Ceramax-80 ceramic knife blade with 1/4 inch square by 1 inch tang, brass ferrule and a piece of padouk (1 inch x1 inch x 6 inch). Simply drill a 1/4 inch hole in the end of the piece of padouk to accept the tang, turn the piece on the lathe to your liking, insert the ferrule and epoxy the blade into the hole. Finish the handle using Danish oil or lacquer. |
